On Sunday June 15, 2025, I gave my first reflection. I’m going with reflection because it wasn’t quite a homily or sermon and didn’t meet the definition of either in that it wasn’t tied to the liturgy of the day: Feast of the Most Holy Trinity. Regardless of length or substance it was my first presentation of religious content, and it was at Saint John’s Church on the campus of Creighton University during the summer term of the Christian Spirituality Program. There could not have been a more fitting context for my first reflection on Ecumenism.
